Occasionally I will be a merciful god to her and use my opposable thumbs to peel it back and let the kibble bits rain. She even has learned its name and will bring me her "pickle" as opposed to her "orange". It's definitely designed for a big dog but she's got it. It is bigger than I thought it would be but my 30 lb mighty mouse of a shepherd/border collie/ husky/heeler mix has all the power she needs to throw it. I'll also throw some kibbles or treats in it later for her to work on idly. I use squirty peanut butter or a reusable piping bag to fill it. She can play with that thing for an hour. That way when I get home after a long day of work and she's had her exercise I can settle back and get out The Pickle. I usually freeze it at night and stuff it with bananas, yogurt, PB, or some veggies. I have a snuffle mat, two orange treat balls (that were for the labs), a starmark orange ball, and so many Kongs.
So she works for each kibble to help me take off some energy. She's awesome but so much more than the labs and goldens I'm used to. I don't review a lot of items but this one is worth it.
